International 10 Blows Out Prize Pool History with $34.3 Million Dollars
Dota 2 has been the king of esports prize pools for years, and they have done it YET AGAIN, by breaking the record with a WHOPPING $34,332,000. THIRTY FOUR MILLION DOLLAR PRIZE POOL. I just had to spell that one out. I couldn’t help myself! It baffles me that we live in the day where ESPORTS are at this level, and I am excited to see just how much further we can push it.
as of this morning, Dota's The International 10 prize pool is now the largest prize pool for any tournament in the history of esports at over $34,360,000 and climbing. TI10 doesn't even have a date yet at it was delayed due to covid. gamers on top pic.twitter.com/fkTpk4cRZK

The $34 million dollar prize pool is all thanks to the fans and players of the Dota 2 community who contributed via purchasing Battle Pass and other related purchases. 25% of all specific sales go to the International prize pool, and 75% goes to valve. I’d like to take a moment to admire just how massive of a machine this is, for a single game.
