Nintendo is now 128 years old Time flies when you’re having fun. Founded September 23, 1889 when a young Japanese entrepreneur named Fusajiro Yamauchi planted the seed of an empire by opening a Hanafuda (flower card) shop called “Nintendo Koppai.” Hanafuda translates to “flower cards” and they are cards that are used to play many games such as Go-Stop or Koi-Koi: Even...[Read More]
In a surprising announcement this morning via twitter, Square Enix has revealed that a 3D remake of beloved Secret of Mana will release in 2018. As a big fan of the SNES classic, along with some of the spin off games and sequels, I could not be happier! Releasing 3D version of old games is not new to Square-Enix, and with the growing trend, I will not be surprised if we see a 3D remake of Chrono T...[Read More]
Yo fam! FINAL FANTASY XV is releasing on PC! As of the date of writing this, no release date has been announced, however the game can be seen on the Steam store with an "Early 2018" disclaimer.

I just got done trying out Hyper Dragon Ball Z Champ’s Build, a free 2D fighting game developed by Team72. Quite frankly, it’s the best 2D DBZ fighting game ever made. Even better than professionally developed Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden for the 3DS. Far, far better, actually. True love for both fighting games and the DB franchise were pumped into the development of this phenomenal ...[Read More]
Not much is known about the upcoming indie game Riverbond other than what we can see in the trailer, so it’s difficult to have much to say. However the visuals and gameplay that can be seen in the trailer below have peaked my interest and I will be keeping tabs on the progress of Riverbond.
Pokémon has been a part of my life for 20 years now. It all started with trading cards in school and Pokémon Blue on my Gameboy, and to this day, I’ve played every major Pokémon game including many spinoffs. Recently I played the Dragon Ball Z complete conversion of Pokémon Fire Red, and I had an absolute blast. Replacing all the Pokémon with Fighters was such a brilliant idea. After beating...[Read More]
Ahh, the ol’ days of Halo 2 multiplayer. I’m a bit older now, but back in the days of 2004, gaming online was still a relatively new experience and was life changing in many ways. Halo 2 was for many people, the greatest online shooter at the time and generated tens of thousands of relationships that are still going strong to this day. However, on one sad day via the Halo Waypoint Blog...[Read More]
Yooka-Laylee has a general release date! And by general date, I mean Q1 of 2017. I know, I know… It’s far away, and it’s not specific enough to truly satisfy our impatience, but hey, at least it’s something! Playtonic also released a new trailer that shows just how far they have come with the game, and it looks absolutely amazing.
We’ve got 7 days until E3 2016 and Square-Enix has already revealed a new HD release of a classic game. This seems like an excellent marketing strategy as more announcements of Final Fantasy XV and the Final Fantasy VII Remake will greatly overshadow XII. Graphically, the game looks amazing from what we can tell from the trailer, and will include the Zodiac Job system which was not previousl...[Read More]
Norfolk, VA — 17 people are dead and 24 are injured following a rather raucous game of improvised Battleship at approximately 02:45 Saturday, June 4, in a small pond in Harrisburg, Virginia.
