Nearly 3 weeks ago I finally conjured the courage to purchase a GTX 1080 on Amazon. On top of that, I decided to upgrade my motherboard, CPU, PSU, and tower to be more up-to-date with the times. I went from a Rampage II extreme mobo, i7 950 CPU, GTX 970 GPU 850watt PSU, and Cooler Master HAF case, to a Stormtrooper, Sniper 3 mobo, i7 3770k, 1300watt PSU and of course, the GTX 1080. It was a very significant upgrade and after many years, it feels really great. With this upgrade I am going to put out more Youtube videos, twitch stream more higher quality streams and of course, enjoy the shit out of modern PC games at max settings. Lately I’ve been replaying Witcher 3 at 4k and holy shit the games visuals are unreal.

My old 970 is going in my second PC and I play on purchasing a second 970 so I can try out SLI and see how dual 970’s compare against the monstrous 1080.
