Breath of the Wild Save Editor (Cemu Save Editor)

To edit your BotW Cemu savegame you need to:

  1. Locate savegame file. My path to reach my savegame looks like “\cemu\mlc01\emulatorSave\2912eb2f”. Choose the folder number that correlates with your game save.
  2. Go to http://www.marcrobledo.com/savegame-editors/
  3. Upload save file “game_data.sav”
  4. Edit your save how you want.
  5. Hit save at the top of the webpage. A download will start, providing you with your updated game_data.sav file.
  6. Replace game_data.sav in save folder with updated version.
  7. Start the emulator and enjoy the game!

Yes, I am facing the same problem. And also when I try to add a new item, it never appears in the inventory. I can only change the value of money and food materials I already have.

I got this problem too. Then in a fit of frustration, I copy the game_data.sav (the one after edit with save game editor) to all my save folder ( from 0 to 5 folder), and it worked! Just make sure you back up your original saves beforehand 🙂

Also, make sure you have free space in your inventory (especially for weapons, shields and bow) before you add a new item, else it wont appear. if there are items in your inventory that you dropped to make the space still appear, fast travel to somewhere, save, edit the save with game save editor, copy the edited save to all folders (of 0 to 5), then load the game. (you can actually let the game runs in the background while you edit and copy the new save file and just load it without closing the game).
