Let me start this off by saying I have taken quite a break from playing baseball games. The last baseball game I really got into was actually the first of the now famous “The Show” series. I grew tired of all the games I owned and went to a store to find a new game to play. I saw MLB The Show 2010 and saw Joe Mauer on the cover (a hometown hero for me). God of War 3 picks up right where God of War 2 left off. In the end of GOW2 Kratos makes a remark about now it’s the gods turn to die. It indeed was a fight through all of your favorite greek gods, including Hades, Hera, and Zues to name a few. The game starts out with Kratos actually riding atop Gaia. A 9000 ft mountain like creature. The graphics from beginning to end are astonishing. The game play its self is fantastic. However, there are a couple things that unimpressed me. There were no consistant camera angles. Kratos at times is as small as a bug and you have to navigate him for a short period of time like this.
